Who We Are

Compañeros de Comida is a local 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that provides marginalized families living in the greater Red Bank area with direct food relief. Compañeros de Comida was created in the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when individuals were unable to reach local food banks due to illness or transportation issues. The organization is run entirely by student volunteers. 

What We Do

Every Saturday the volunteers come together to sort and distribute a weeks worth of food to over twenty families. This organization has served over 100 families and helped 60 achieve food security since its inception in April of 2020. The volunteers provide door to door services while abiding by CDC regulations to accommodate to families who are unable to obtain access to local food banks.
